When I tell you that my jaw dropped when I saw the photography for this Camila Fernández x Música Ford campaign, I am not exaggerating. I mean, look at the photo in this blog header—STUNNING.

MAX Senior Director/Producer Francis Juarez shared a little sneak peek behind the scenes with all of us during the production shoot, and I knew that the photos were going to be good, but I was not ready for just how beautiful, powerful, and striking they would turn out to be!

A Musical Dynasty

The photography isn’t the only thing to gush over in this campaign—Camila Fernández’s artistry, talent, and presence make every content piece for this campaign just perfect. 

Camila Fernández comes from an iconic music family and has a deep connection to traditional Mexican music. And while her sound is rooted in tradition, she is also bringing new sounds into her musical stylings and helping Mariachi music reach new audiences. Her blend of styles, eras, and culture has helped her establish her own place in the music world while still keeping her close ties with her family and heritage.

I love the “hero video” for this Música Ford campaign—especially hearing Camila talk about her musical journey in her own words and how her family has both influenced and supported her as she struck out on her own path.

Camila also talks about her favorite things about the Ford Bronco—including how the Bronco is reliable, smooth, and familiar.

When the Going Gets Tough . . .

While the Ford Bronco might be reliable and smooth, production shoots aren’t always so easy! As some of the great poets of our time have said, you can plan a pretty picnic but you can't predict the weather.

Despite the challenges they faced during the shoot, Camila Fernández, her team, and our production team powered through and created truly amazing content that showcases both Camila Fernández and the Ford Bronco beautifully.

Speaking of beauty, my favorite story from this shoot (thank you for sharing, Francis!) is about how Camila’s daughter, who was on-site for part of the shoot, came out to join the production crew for chocolate ice cream and to chase butterflies. 🥹🦋
