Thrilled to share that DannyLux is teaming up with Accounting+ once again to prove that in the music industry, it’s not just about crafting catchy lyrics and melodies, but also mastering those debits and credits. Watch as this partnership turns hit grooves into smart financial moves. After all, in this business, every asset matters, and this duo is here to help you steer clear of any ledger regrets.

Fast Fame & Fortune

DannyLux was only sixteen when he started skyrocketing to fame. He released his first album before his seventeenth birthday, then hit #1 on Billboard’s Songwriters & Producers chart and stayed there for three weeks. Suddenly, the teenage DannyLux had a full-on music career—and that’s when the money started rolling in.

I don’t know about anyone else, but if someone else had given sixteen-year-old-me a giant pile of money, there’s no way I would have known what to do about it. I knew nothing about taxes or investing or financial planning—and DannyLux didn’t either.

Like most kids his age, he knew how to spend money on the fun stuff but didn’t have any kind of financial roadmap set up. When tax season rolled around, he found himself faced with a big tax bill and a new set of challenges.

Luckily, DannyLux was much more savvy than I was at his age and he knew exactly what he needed: an accountant.

Accountants to the Rescue!

2024-739_Accounting+_DannyLux_IMG-4With the help of his trusted accountant, DannyLux was able to get his growing business in order and invest in himself. Thanks to his accountant, he was able to chase his dreams and launch his career to the next level.

It’s really refreshing to hear DannyLux talk openly and honestly about the money issues that a lot of young artists run into when they hit fame and fortune at an early age. It’s also great hearing someone so young recognize how much he’s benefitted from having the advice from his accountant—and just how exciting and fulfilling a career in accounting can be.

Growing Diversity

This campaign is a continuation of our work with Accounting+ and I absolutely LOVE the message behind all of it. Accounting+ is showing high school and college students all kinds of benefits of getting a degree in accounting—and helping create more diversity within the field with culturally relevant messaging that resonates with an increasingly diverse audience.

Our Own Shining Star ⭐

Oscar Pool 1And now for my absolute favorite part of this campaign . . . 😄

Our very own Oscar Banda, Financial Analyst at MAX and accountant extraordinaire, has his debut acting performance alongside DannyLux! Oscar NAILED his role—and we’ll all understand if he leaves us to become a world-famous movie star.

BTS pics from the production shoot prove that the life of an accountant is full of glamor, luxury, and poolside lounging—we should all be so lucky! 😁

The Song: "HOUSE OF LUX 2"

I cannot think of a better song to be featured in this campaign. “HOUSE OF LUX 2” is an ode to luxury, indulgence, and (to quote an absolute icon of luxury) oppalance. Luckily, DannyLux has his accountant on deck to help him keep track of those Dior bags and that suitcase full of cash.

Get to Know DannyLux

DannyLux is making waves in the music industry as a prominent figure in the regional Mexican genre. Known for his hit collaboration with Eslabón Armado, "Jugaste y Sufrí," he quickly rose to fame, becoming one of the most exciting new talents in the scene. DannyLux's music brings a fresh perspective to traditional forms, blending them with contemporary sounds and themes. Notably, he was invited to open for Coldplay during their Mexico tour dates, a testament to his growing influence and appeal across music genres. His Coachella debut and innovative approach to music, including his Beatles-inspired corridos, mark him as a rising star in the Chicano and broader music community.
